BD615 vs BD505: The BD615 has higher IP66 protection (vs IP54 in BD505) – completely dustproof and resistant to strong water jets. Both have 48 channels and DMR Tier II. The BD615 is for outdoor use and harsh conditions, the BD505 for indoors.
UKE license required – the successor to the TC-610, requires a UKE license for operation on VHF/UHF frequencies.
