Hytera AP585 is a higher-end model of the AP5 series — an analog VHF/UHF radio with a 1.4" LCD display, 256 channels in 8 zones, and a Scrambler. 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, 12 h operating time, USB-C charging (1.8 h for full charge). IP54, MIL-STD-810G, 3 W speaker. Multipin H5 accessory port.

AP585 vs AP515: The AP585 has an LCD display, 256 channels in 8 zones,
and a Scrambler (analog encryption) — the AP515 has no display and only 32 channels.
However, the AP515 has a larger battery (4000 mAh vs 1500 mAh) and longer operating time (18 h vs 12 h).
Choose the AP585 if you need many channels and a display; choose the AP515 if long operating
time is a priority.
