The DJI Zenmuse S1 is a professional LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) spotlight for DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK drones. It offers a range of up to 500m (Both On mode), four operating modes, and can be controlled via the remote controller and DJI Pilot 2. It has an IP54 rating and operates in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.

FAQ

What is the difference between Low Beam and High Beam?

Low Beam (FOV 15°) illuminates a wider area up to 150m — good for search operations. High Beam (FOV 4°) focuses the beam up to 300m — for precise target identification. Both On mode combines both for up to 500m.

Why LEP instead of LED?

LEP technology produces a more focused and intense beam with lower power consumption than LED of comparable range — crucial for UAV platforms where every watt reduces flight time.

Does the S1 significantly affect flight time?

Minimally — consumption is approx. 17 W in long-range mode for M400 platforms (977 Wh battery).
