Infinity Gimbal — a revolution in composition
The biggest change from the previous generation is the abandonment of the traditional under-fuselage hanging gimbal in favor of a spherical Infinity Gimbal located at the front of the drone. The result? Better aerodynamics, and above all, completely new compositional possibilities:
- Full 360° rotation — panoramas, over-the-shoulder shots, wraparound shots in one fluid motion
- Up to 70° upward tilt — vertical shots, recording the sky, bridges, and buildings from below
- 3-axis stabilization — sharp image even in 12 m/s winds

Night Work — LiDAR and 0.1 lux
The Mavic 4 Pro is equipped with six omnidirectional vision sensors with 0.1 lux sensitivity and a front LiDAR. Under standard street lighting (0.1 lux), the drone avoids obstacles in all directions at speeds up to 18 m/s. Below 0.1 lux, the front LiDAR takes over detection and allows for rapid braking. The Nighttime RTH function ensures a safe return home in complete darkness.
O4+ Transmission — 30 km, 10-bit HDR
The DJI O4+ system transmits 10-bit HDR video up to 30 km (FCC) / 15 km (CE). Improved algorithms reduce disconnections in high-interference environments (cities, industrial areas) and optimize transmission when multiple drones are flying simultaneously. Fast Quick Transfer (Wi-Fi 6, up to 80 MB/s) allows file transfer without turning on the drone.
DJI RC Pro 2 Controller
The Creator Combo includes the DJI RC Pro 2 — a production-grade controller with a 7" Mini-LED screen with 2000 nits brightness and 1920×1200 resolution. Legible in full sunlight, with an HDMI output for connecting an external monitor and a foldable design that doesn't require joystick removal.

What's the difference between the Creator Combo and the Fly More Combo?
The Creator Combo includes 512 GB of internal storage (vs. 64 GB standard), supports ALL-I 4:2:2 recording, and comes with the DJI RC Pro 2 controller (Mini-LED 2000 nit screen, HDMI output). The Fly More Combo includes the RC 2 (700 nits, no HDMI) and standard 64 GB storage.
Does the Mavic 4 Pro support Apple ProRes?
No — the Mavic 4 Pro does not support ProRes. The Creator Combo offers H.264 ALL-I 4:2:2 recording, which is a professional format with minimal compression, similar in quality to ProRes for most production uses. The only DJI drone with ProRes remains the Inspire 3.
Does the RC Pro 2 work with other DJI drones?
The DJI RC Pro 2 is compatible with DJI Mavic 4 Pro, Air 3S, Air 3, Mini 4 Pro, and Mini 5 Pro. For the Mavic 4 Pro, only the RC 2 or RC Pro 2 are compatible.
How long does it take to charge 3 batteries?
The Parallel Charging Hub (240 W) charges all 3 batteries in ~90 minutes. A single battery charges via the fast Mini-SDC port in ~43 minutes. The hub can also function as a 100 W power bank for external devices.
