The DJI Matrice 4TD is an advanced industrial drone with four cameras and a thermal imaging camera, designed for infrastructure inspection, search and rescue missions, and public safety operations. It can be operated manually with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise or fully autonomously using the DJI Dock 3.
The combination of daylight cameras, thermal imaging, laser rangefinder, and an RTK module provides precise data in all lighting conditions—around the clock.

The thermal imaging camera allows for the detection of thermal anomalies, night operations with NIR and IR modes, and identification of threats invisible to standard cameras.

Obstacle Detection
The system can be extended with a LiDAR + mmWave obstacle detection module, which detects thin objects like wires with a diameter of 12 mm and ensures safe obstacle avoidance in difficult terrain conditions.
Connectivity and Transmission
The Matrice 4TD uses the DJI O4+ Enterprise system, providing stable HD image transmission over a distance of up to 10 km. It also supports DJI Cellular Dongle 2 for 4G connectivity and a relay mode for operations in hard-to-reach locations.
Precise RTK Positioning
The integrated RTK module works with the DJI D-RTK 3, providing centimeter-level measurement accuracy during inspection and infrastructure mapping operations.

Matrice 4TD is a version adapted for autonomous operations with DJI Dock 3 (Class C6). Matrice 4T is a version for manual control (Class C2). Both models have identical camera systems and flight parameters.
Does Matrice 4TD require BVLOS authorization for autonomous missions?
Yes — autonomous operations with DJI Dock 3 in Class C6 require appropriate operational authorizations in accordance with EU regulations and ULC (Polish Civil Aviation Authority) provisions. Contact us if you need support with the certification process.
Is the obstacle detection module included?
No — the LiDAR + mmWave module is an optional extension available separately. Its installation is possible both when purchasing the set and at a later date.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
Using the 240W charging hub included in the set, the charging time for the Matrice 4D/4TD battery is approximately 60 minutes. The hub allows for sequential charging of 3 batteries.
