UNVG vs NVG-40/NVG-50: UNVG is a more modern platform — lighter PEEK+glass fiber housing, independent pods (one eye can be folded), PVS-14-style accessory compatibility, up to 60h with a battery pack. NVG-40/50 is an older design. For new purchases, UNVG is a better choice.
