How does flight altitude affect accuracy?
@ 120 m: 3 cm / 4 cm (V/H). @ 300 m: 5 cm / 7.5 cm. @ 500 m: approx. 10 cm vertically. Allows matching flight altitude to required project accuracy.
Does L3 penetrate dense vegetation?
Yes — 16 echo returns and a 1535 nm laser with higher pulse energy provide better penetration under tree canopy than L2 (5 returns).
What memory card does L3 require?
CFexpress Type B with a minimum sequential write speed of 1500 MB/s. Slower media may result in data loss. 2 cards and a reader are included in the kit.
Are GCPs required?
Thanks to the 200 Hz POS system and RTK/PPK, centimeter accuracy is achievable without a dense GCP network. Control points can be used for independent verification.
Is L3 compatible with M300/M350?
No — Zenmuse L3 is designed exclusively for DJI Matrice 400. Zenmuse L2 is dedicated to M300/M350.
