FAQ
Why is the dual battery payload 30 kg and the single battery payload 40 kg?
Two DB2000 batteries weigh a total of approx. 22.5 kg. In single battery mode, the drone is lighter by one battery, so it can carry more payload within the 95 kg MTOW limit. DJI recommends dual battery for power redundancy.
When does the built-in parachute activate?
Automatically in case of critical failure, from a minimum altitude of 60 m. Descent rate after activation: 6 m/s. The operator can also activate it manually from the controller.
What is the range in Europe (CE)?
Under CE standards, the O3 transmission range is 8 km (vs 20 km FCC). In practice, BVLOS operations in the EU require additional permits regardless of the technical range.
How does Winch mode work without landing?
The drone hovers over the target, the cable (20 m) lowers the payload to the ground — upon touch, the payload is automatically released. Swing Control stabilizes payload oscillations in flight. In an emergency, the cable can be thermally cut to release the drone.
