Applications

The combination of a 48 MP RGB camera, telephoto lens, 1280×1024 thermal imager, and 1800m laser rangefinder allows the M4T to perform in a single flight what other drones need separate missions for:

  • Thermal inspections of power lines, photovoltaic farms, and transformers – detecting hot spots invisible to the RGB camera
  • SAR operations – searching for missing persons with thermal imaging at night and in difficult weather conditions
  • Night monitoring and support for services – 100m NIR lamp, 200× zoom
  • Industrial inspections – analysis of temperatures of pipelines, furnaces, chemical installations
  • Support for uniformed services and critical infrastructure protection

M4T vs M4E – which to choose?
Matrice 4T – thermal imaging, SAR, energy inspections, night monitoring.
Matrice 4E – photogrammetry, mapping, mechanical shutter, 2.8 km²/flight coverage.
If your missions combine thermal inspections with mapping – both models have the same price, choose based on the dominant application.

FAQ

What is the difference between UHR 1280×1024 and standard 640×512?

UHR (Ultra High Resolution) is a quadruple resolution mode achieved by sensor dithering – it provides 4× more detailed image with the same physical matrix. Crucial for long-distance inspections when you need to identify thermal detail at a distance of 300–500m.

Does M4T have RTK without an additional base station?

The built-in RTK works with correction networks (NTRIP) via the controller's 4G connection – without its own base station. For maximum accuracy (0.8 cm) in areas without 4G coverage, you need a D-RTK 3 station.

What is the range in Poland (CE)?

Under CE standards applicable in Poland, the O4 Enterprise range is 12 km (vs 25 km FCC). In practice, BVLOS operations require separate PAŻP (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency) permits regardless of the technical range.
