Orni XG35 is a modern thermal imaging monocular designed for nature enthusiasts, wildlife photographers, and ornithologists who observe in challenging environmental conditions – at dawn, dusk, night, and in adverse weather.

The device is equipped with a sensor with a resolution of 640×480 px and a pixel size of 12 µm, which guarantees very good image quality and high detail even at high magnifications. Thanks to this, the Orni XG35 is perfect for observing birds, mammals, and analyzing animal behavior without interfering with their natural environment.

The Orni XG35 model features a precise, new-generation laser rangefinder with a measurement range of up to 1500 meters with an accuracy of ±1 m, allowing precise determination of the distance to the observed object — a function particularly useful for field documentation, nature monitoring, and planning photographic shots.

High thermal sensitivity NETD < 20 mK allows for precise detail differentiation even in difficult atmospheric conditions, such as fog, rainfall, or high humidity. The adopted lens with a focal length of 35 mm and an aperture of f/1.0 ensures high image quality and a detection range for human-sized objects of up to 1800 meters.

The device offers 2.5× optical magnification, which, thanks to 8× digital magnification, can be increased up to 20×, allowing for both wide-area observation and precise close-ups — ideal for locating birds or animals before taking photos.

Thanks to digital image stabilization, observations can be made without support even at high magnifications and distances, while moving through terrain, and also from a vehicle. The image is displayed on a high-quality AMOLED HD screen with a resolution of 1024×768 px, ensuring excellent readability and eye comfort.

The optional automatic display brightness adjustment function extends battery life, reduces eye strain, and minimizes light emission, which promotes discreet nature observation.

An important feature of the Orni XG35 monocular is the new, ergonomic focus knob, which allows full and precise operation of the device with one hand. This solution significantly increases comfort and safety of use, especially when working in the field or during photography, where quick reaction and stable grip are crucial. Additionally, the thermal imager was designed for both right- and left-handed users.

The robust magnesium casing with an IP67 protection rating shields the device from water, dust, shocks, and other harsh weather conditions, making the Orni XG35 a reliable tool for extended field expeditions. Additionally, the monocular is equipped with haptic feedback — buttons vibrate gently when pressed, ensuring intuitive operation even with gloves on.

The set includes a strong mounting clip, allowing the thermal imager to be attached to a belt, pocket, or backpack, so the device is always at hand.

The Orni XG35 uses an innovative, dual power system: a built-in battery and a replaceable B-PACK APS5 battery with 4900 mAh capacity, providing up to 12 hours of continuous operation in the field.

Devices from the Pulsar brand are designed and manufactured in Europe from European components, offering the highest image quality, robust construction, and reliability — ideal for ornithologists, wildlife photographers, and wild nature observation enthusiasts.

Key Features of Pulsar Orni XG35:

  • 640x480 pixel sensor
Orni XG35 offers very good image quality thanks to the use of a sensor with 640x480 pixels and a size of 12 µm.

  • Digital image stabilization

An innovative solution in the monocular is digital image stabilization, thanks to which observations can be made at long distances and high magnifications without support, in motion, or in a moving car.

  • Easy one-handed operation

Intuitive operation combined with modern technology gives us an effective and comfortable to use thermal imager. Additionally, the special design, button layout, and focus knob placement allow for complete one-handed control!

  • Automatic brightness adjustment

The innovative feature of automatic display brightness adjustment will not only extend battery life but also reduce eye strain and increase observer discretion.

  • Improved sNETD sensor <20mK

The sensor with the highest available thermal sensitivity with an sNETD <20 mK coefficient ensures precise detail recognition even in unfavorable weather conditions such as rain and fog, even when the temperature contrast is low.

  • Built-in laser rangefinder

Orni has a built-in laser rangefinder, which allows us to precisely determine the distance to the target up to 1500 meters with an accuracy of 1 meter.

  • Software update capability

Pulsar allows for software updates in its products, giving users access to the latest improvements. This feature ensures that the device is constantly evolving and improving.

  • Wide magnification range

Pulsar Orni XG35 has an optical magnification of 2.5x, which can be digitally increased up to 20x.

  • Exceptional durability

The device has an IP67 protection rating, meaning it is completely dustproof and waterproof (submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). Additionally, the specially designed magnesium casing provides exceptional mechanical resistance, protecting the device from drops and shocks.

  • Built-in video/photo recorder with 64 GB memory

The thermal imager has a built-in video and photo recorder with 64 GB capacity. The USB-C port allows transferring recordings from the thermal imager to a computer, and the mobile app allows direct transfer to a phone.

  • Built-in WiFi module, Polish-language Stream Vision 2 app

Each Pulsar device can communicate with external mobile devices on which, using the free, Polish-language StreamVision 2 application, one can: view images recorded by the thermal imager, save photos and videos to the phone or tablet's memory, control advanced thermal imager functions, save files in the free cloud, and update the device, improving the thermal imager with increasingly advanced features.

  • Change in sensitivity gain level

Three-stage change in sensitivity gain level, improves detection and recognition quality in various observation conditions. In case of a decrease in temperature contrast (fog, precipitation, high humidity), it is recommended to increase the gain level.

  • Smoothing filter

A function that improves image quality, allowing us to reduce digital distortions while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.

  • Display OFF - Sleep mode

The "Display OFF" function instantly turns the display on/off without turning off the device, which saves battery power and helps remain unnoticed in the dark.

  • Frost-resistant AMOLED HD display with 1024x768 pixel resolution

The high-resolution display (1024x768 pixels) combined with high resistance to extreme temperatures ensures that the device will not fail us even in the most difficult conditions.

  • Extreme range

The use of high-quality germanium optics provides a detection range of  up to 1800m.

  • Picture in Picture mode

Allows magnifying the central part of the image in a specially displayed window. The additional window occupies only 10% of the total display area.

  • Color palettes

There are various image color palettes available – the user has as many as 9 versions to choose from. (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green, Red Monochromatic, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, Sepia).

  • Wide temperature range

The thermal imager can be used at any time of year – the device operates in a temperature range from -25 to +40 degrees Celsius.

  • High refresh rate

Even when observing moving objects, the image is smooth and observations are comfortable thanks to the 50 Hz refresh rate.
