Lumion XL50 – advanced new-generation thermal imager for nature observers
The Lumion XL50 is an innovative thermal imaging monocular designed for nature enthusiasts, wildlife photographers, and ornithologists who demand the highest image quality, ergonomics, and reliability and durability of equipment used in the field. The device also serves as an excellent complement to classic optical binoculars, creating a complete observation kit for use in all lighting conditions.
The device is equipped with an HD sensor with a resolution of 1024×768 px and a pixel size of 12 µm, guaranteeing an incredibly detailed image even at high digital magnifications. High thermal sensitivity sNETD < 20 mK allows for precise recognition of animal and bird details even in difficult atmospheric conditions, such as fog, precipitation, or high humidity.
The 50mm focal length lens with an aperture of f/1.0 ensures excellent observation quality and a human-sized object detection range of up to 2300 meters, which is ideal for wide landscape observations and long-range wildlife monitoring.
The modern, highly ergonomic body design, made of the highest quality materials, combined with thoughtfully arranged control buttons, ensures high comfort and intuitive operation, even during prolonged field observations. The image is presented on an AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1024×768 px, guaranteeing high readability and natural detail reproduction.
A convenient magnification adjustment knob allows for smooth adjustment from 2.5× to 20×, and with the ZOOM BOOST function, we can increase the magnification up to 30×. Digital image stabilization significantly improves comfort during high magnifications and observations in motion, e.g., from a car or boat.
The Lumion XL50 is designed for both right- and left-handed users — the adjustable strap allows for perfect fitting of the device to any hand, which is crucial during fieldwork and photography.
The Lumion series is also equipped with an ergonomic and functional case, allowing for safe and comfortable transport of the thermal imager in all field conditions. The image can be individually adjusted by regulating brightness and contrast and by selecting one of the nine color palettes, which facilitates observation in various environments.
The Auto Display-Off function automatically turns off the screen when the device is in a vertical position, which saves energy and extends battery life. The built-in Wi-Fi module allows connection to a mobile device and operation via the StreamVision 2 application, enabling remote control and image preview on a smartphone or tablet. Image streaming via USB cable is also available.
The Lumion XL50 uses a replaceable LPS 7i battery, providing up to 8 hours of continuous operation, supports fast charging, and power supply via USB-C, which is ideal for long research and photographic expeditions.

Built-in video/photo recorder with 64 GB memory
The thermal imager has a built-in video and photo recorder with a capacity of 64 GB. The USB-C port allows transferring recordings from the thermal imager to a computer.
- Built-in Wi-Fi module, Polish-language Stream Vision 2 application
Pulsar Lumion can communicate with external mobile devices on which, using the free, Polish-language StreamVision 2 application, you can: view images recorded by the thermal imager, save photos and videos to phone or tablet memory, control advanced thermal imager functions, save files to a free cloud, and update the device, equipping the scope with increasingly perfect functions.
- Change of sensitivity gain level
Three-stage change of sensitivity gain level, improves detection and recognition quality in various observation conditions. In case of a decrease in temperature contrast (fog, precipitation, high humidity), it is recommended to increase the gain level.
- Smoothing filter
A function that improves image quality, thanks to which we can reduce digital distortions while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.
- Display OFF - Sleep mode
The Auto Display-Off function automatically turns off the screen when the device is in a vertical position, which saves energy and extends battery life.
- Frost-resistant AMOLED HD display with 1024x768 pixels resolution
The high-resolution display (1024x768 pixels) combined with high resistance to extreme temperatures ensures that the device will not fail us even in the most difficult conditions.

The use of high-quality germanium optics provides a detection range of up to 2300m.
- Picture in Picture mode
Allows you to magnify the central part of the image in a specially displayed window. The additional window takes up only 10% of the total display area.

- Wide temperature range
Thermal imagers can be used at any time of the year – the device operates in the temperature range from -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.
