Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 is a smaller, lighter, and even more functional successor to the bestselling Krypton XG50 attachment.
The 2 XG50 model also features an observation monocular with 3x20B parameters, which can be quickly and easily mounted to the rear of the thermal imaging attachment. With the monocular attached, the device transforms into an observation thermal imager with 3x magnification.
Like its predecessor, the presented model uses a sensor with 640x480 resolution and a pixel pitch of 12 µm.
The attachment features an AMOLED HD display with a higher resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, offering the sharpest image among thermal imaging attachments available on the market. The attachment is compatible with various types of optics with variable magnification, transforming a day scope into a powerful thermal imaging tool. The highest quality germanium lens with a 50 mm focal length and a higher F1.0 aperture significantly improves the quality of observing objects at long distances and allows for locating a human-sized target at a distance of up to 2300 meters. The high-quality sensor with a pixel pitch of 12 µm offers the user excellent thermal contrast and high sensitivity (sNETD <20 mK) even in adverse weather conditions. Krypton attachments are fully waterproof and can be used in all weather conditions, at temperatures from -25 to +50 degrees Celsius. The housing has an IPX7 protection rating (allowing the device to be submerged at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes).
Thanks to an innovative adapter system, the attachment can be mounted on a scope of any brand and all objective diameters (adapter not included in the set).
Mounting the attachment on a day scope is simple, quick, and repeatable, allowing for smooth adjustment of the attachment's field of view and precise alignment with the scope's aiming point. A supplementary reticle has been added to the Krypton 2 attachment menu to facilitate precise synchronization with the scope. To maintain the best observation comfort with excellent image quality, the recommended magnification range for a day scope is 2-6x.
The attachment's housing is made of a magnesium alloy, which effectively dissipates heat from the electronic components while guaranteeing high recoil resistance even for the largest calibers.
The image of the Krypton 2 attachment can be customized to individual needs by adjusting contrast, brightness, and choosing one of eight available color palettes.
The thermal imager has a built-in Wi-Fi module allowing connection to a mobile device on which the StreamVision 2 application can be run. This application allows remote observation of the image obtained by the thermal imager and also enables control of the binoculars via a smartphone or tablet.
For power, an easily replaceable IPS7 battery with a capacity of 6400 mAh is used, allowing for up to 11 hours of continuous operation.

A new feature is the snap-on system that allows for quick detachment of the attachment without removing the adapter from the rifle scope.
- Sensitivity gain level change
The attachments feature a three-level sensitivity gain change, which improves detection and recognition quality in various observation conditions. If temperature contrast decreases (fog, precipitation, high humidity), it is recommended to increase the gain level.
- Smoothing filter
A function that improves image quality, allowing us to reduce digital distortions while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.
- Color palettes
Pulsar Krypton 2 attachments offer various image color palettes – the user has access to as many as 8 versions (White Hot, Black Hot, Hot Red, RedMonochrome, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, Sepia).
- Waterproof
The device has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it is completely waterproof (submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).
- Built-in video/photo recorder with 16 GB memory
The sight has a built-in video and photo recorder with 16 GB capacity. The USB-C port allows transferring recordings from the thermal imager to a computer.
- High mechanical resistance: 6000J
Pulsar products are the only ones that provide resistance to large calibers – they can be freely used with firearms of .375H&H or 9.3x64 caliber. Most competing products are recommended for a maximum caliber of .308 Win.

Krypton 2 attachments can communicate with external mobile devices on which the free, Polish-language StreamVision 2 application can be run to: view images, save photos and videos to phone or tablet memory, control advanced thermal imager functions, save files to free cloud storage, and update the device, equipping the sight with increasingly advanced features.
