Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 is a smaller, lighter, and even more functional successor to the bestselling Krypton FXG50 attachment.

The presented model, like its predecessor, uses a sensor with a resolution of 640x480 and a pixel size of 12 µm.

The attachment features an AMOLED HD display with a higher resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, offering the sharpest image among thermal imaging attachments available on the market. The attachment is compatible with various types of optics with variable magnification, transforming a daytime scope into a powerful thermal imaging tool. The highest quality germanium lens with a focal length of 50 mm and a higher aperture of F1.0 significantly improves the quality of observation of objects at long distances and allows for locating a human-sized target up to 2300 meters away. The high-quality sensor with a pixel size of 12 µm offers the user excellent thermal contrast and high sensitivity (sNETD <20 mK) even in adverse weather conditions. Krypton attachments are fully waterproof, can be used in all weather conditions, at temperatures ranging from -25 to +50 degrees. The housing has an IPX7 protection rating (allowing the device to be submerged to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes).

Thanks to an innovative adapter system, the attachment can be mounted on any brand of scope with all objective diameters. (adapter not included)

Mounting the attachment on a daytime scope is simple, fast, and repeatable, allowing for smooth adjustment of the attachment's field of view and precise alignment with the scope's aiming point. A helper reticle has been added to the Krypton 2 attachment menu to facilitate precise synchronization with the scope. To maintain the best observation comfort with excellent image quality, the recommended magnification range for a daytime scope is 2-6x.

The attachment's housing is made of a magnesium alloy that perfectly dissipates heat from electronic components while ensuring high recoil resistance even for the largest calibers.

The image of the Krypton 2 attachment can be customized to individual needs by adjusting contrast, brightness, and selecting one of eight available color palettes.

The thermal imager has a built-in Wi-Fi module allowing connection to a mobile device on which the StreamVision 2 application can be launched. This application allows remote observation of the image obtained by the thermal imager and enables control of the binoculars via a smartphone or tablet.

Power is supplied by an easily replaceable IPS7 battery with a capacity of 6400 mAh, allowing up to 11 hours of continuous operation.

Sensitivity gain level adjustment

The attachments feature a three-level sensitivity gain adjustment, which improves detection and recognition quality in various observation conditions. In case of reduced temperature contrast (fog, precipitation, high humidity), it is recommended to increase the gain level.

Smoothing filter

A function that improves image quality, allowing us to reduce digital distortions while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.

Color palettes

Pulsar Krypton 2 attachments offer various image color palettes – the user has access to as many as 8 versions. (White Hot, Black Hot, Hot Red, Red Monochrome, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, Sepia)

Waterproof

The device has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning complete water resistance (submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).

Built-in video/photo recorder with 16 GB memory

The sight has a built-in video and photo recorder with a capacity of 16 GB. The USB-C port allows transferring recordings from the thermal imager to a computer.

High mechanical resistance: 6000J

Pulsar products are the only ones that ensure resistance to large calibers – they can be freely used with weapons of .375H&H or 9.3x64 caliber. Most competing products are recommended for a maximum caliber of .308 Win.
