Ultima 65 Observation Scope

Celestron's most popular spotting scope series - Ultima, offers high-quality and economical spotting scopes with variable magnification (zoom), available in three sizes and in straight and angled versions. At the heart of every Ultima spotting scope is an achromatic objective lens with multi-layered anti-reflective coatings, which delivers a clear, bright, and sharp image with high contrast.

The eyepiece used in Celestron Ultima spotting scopes allows for smooth adjustment of the scope's magnification (zoom) over a wide range, enabling Ultima scopes to view both vast landscapes and focus on specific elements, such as game, birds, architectural features, or people.

Straight Celestron Ultima spotting scopes are excellent for observations from a balcony or terrace, or during field observations, e.g., of the opposite bank of a lake. Angled spotting scopes, on the other hand, can be used for virtually all applications and can even be pointed towards the sky to observe the Moon, planets, or brighter objects like nebulae and star clusters, especially the 100 mm model, which collects a lot of light and is therefore best suited for typical nocturnal observations. The Ultima 65, in turn, is a very compact optical instrument that you can take literally anywhere, e.g., in a backpack for a mountain hike or a bike trip. The 80 mm objective scopes are the most versatile, commonly used for observing nature or airplanes.

The Ultima 65 spotting scope offers variable magnification (zoom) from 18x to 55x. A carrying case is included. The set also includes an eyepiece that allows for magnifications from 18-55x. It can be connected to an SLR camera.
