Ultima 100 Spotting Scope

Celestron's most popular series of spotting scopes - Ultima - are high-quality and economical scopes with variable magnification (zoom), available in three sizes and in straight and angled versions. The heart of every Ultima scope is an achromatic objective lens with multi-coated anti-reflective coatings, which delivers a clear, bright, sharp, and high-contrast image.

The eyepiece used in Celestron Ultima scopes allows for smooth adjustment of the scope's magnification (zoom) over a wide range, enabling Ultima scopes to view both vast landscapes and focus on specific elements, such as wildlife, birds, architectural elements, or people.

Celestron Ultima straight scopes are excellent for observations from a balcony or terrace, or during field observations, e.g., the other side of a lake. Angled scopes, on the other hand, can be used in virtually any application, and can even be pointed towards the sky to view the Moon, planets, or brighter objects such as nebulae and star clusters, especially the 100 mm diameter model, which collects a lot of light and is therefore best suited for typical night observations. The Ultima 65, in turn, is a very compact optical instrument that you can take literally anywhere, e.g., in a backpack for a mountain hike or a bike trip. Scopes with an 80 mm objective lens are the most versatile and are commonly used for observing nature or airplanes.

The Ultima 100 scope offers variable magnification (zoom) from 22 to 66x. A cover is included. It can be connected to an SLR camera. The eyepiece is inclined at a 45-degree angle.
