The Celestron Regal M2 spotting scope is the second generation of Celestron's flagship spotting scopes. Both day and night, the Regal M2 is optimized for maximum sharp images. It is designed for birdwatching, nature observation, long-distance landscape observation, and simple astronomical observations.
Regal M2 series scopes feature extra-low dispersion (ED) glass objectives, housed in sealed magnesium bodies, which have been reduced in weight by more than 14% compared to the previous Regal version. Additionally, a new feature is the dual focusing mechanism with a coarse and micro focuser placed coaxially, to double the speed of focusing on the selected target.
The Regal M2 is waterproof and nitrogen-filled, so it does not fog up from the inside. It differs from the previous version in its green, natural color, and includes a case in the set.
One of the most interesting features is the interchangeable eyepieces – opening up a huge range of high-quality, fixed-focal length astronomical eyepieces with a 1.25-inch mounting standard to the user.
