Observation telescope Delta Optical Titanium 50ED

The Delta Optical Titanium 50 ED spotting scope is an incredibly compact, handy observation scope with a modern design and very good optical properties. Thanks to its solid construction, it is suitable for various outdoor observations – it will work well in both professional and hobby applications – for nature observation, hunting, and even for simple sky observations.

Just like in the larger Titanium 65 ED II scope model, the use of an objective made of ED glass with very low dispersion significantly reduced chromatic aberration. As a result, the image is exceptionally sharp and contrasting, and colors are reproduced with remarkable fidelity. Additionally, the ED glass allowed for the use of a short focal length, only 170 mm.

A distinguishing feature of the device is its small dimensions. The Titanium 50 ED scope is probably the smallest spotting scope currently produced with a 50 mm diameter objective. It weighs only 500 g and is only 17 cm long!

The scope is equipped with a variable focal length eyepiece, allowing for magnifications ranging from 7.5x to 22.5x. The very large exit pupil diameter, reaching up to 6.7 mm, helps to conduct efficient observations even after dark. The scope is fully waterproof, and filling its housing with nitrogen free of water vapor prevents fogging of the optical elements from the inside.

The Delta Optical Titanium 50 ED spotting scope is an exceptionally well-thought-out design. What is particularly pleasing is the possibility of using astronomical eyepieces in the popular 1.25" mounting standard. To use such an eyepiece, simply turn the mounting ring to the left and, after removing the installed eyepiece, insert a new one in its place. Specialized astronomical eyepieces, especially those with fixed focal length, allow for very large fields of view and exceptionally sharp images even at the edges.
