Ventex XP35 – compact thermal imaging binoculars for nature observers

Ventex XP35 is the smallest thermal imaging binocular in its class, designed for nature enthusiasts, wildlife photographers, and ornithologists who value natural viewing comfort, high image quality, and reliability in the field.

The modern design of Ventex XP35 resembles a classic optical binocular, making the device intuitive and comfortable to operate even during prolonged observations. The use of top-quality components translates into durability, reliability, and high user comfort in diverse environmental conditions.

The binoculars are equipped with a sensor with a resolution of 640×480 px and a pixel size of 17 µm, with high thermal sensitivity of NETD < 18 mK, allowing for very accurate recognition of animal and bird details even in difficult weather conditions. A high-class germanium lens with a focal length of 35 mm and an aperture of f/1.0 ensures a bright, high-contrast image and excellent observation quality.

The device features a precise laser rangefinder, integrated into the binocular's lens, allowing for accurate distance measurement to the observed object up to 1000 meters. This is particularly useful when documenting field observations and planning wildlife photography.

A 50 Hz refresh rate guarantees a smooth, sharp image without blurring, even when observing fast-moving animals or birds in flight. The Ventex XP35 allows for the detection of warm objects the size of a human silhouette from a distance of up to 1350 meters.

The use of two independent displays and viewfinders significantly improves observation comfort, providing natural, binocular vision. 2× optical magnification can be smoothly or stepwise increased digitally up to 16×, allowing for both wide-area observation and precise close-ups.

The image can be customized to individual preferences by adjusting brightness and contrast and selecting one of nine color palettes, which facilitates observation in various environments and lighting conditions.

Ventex XP35 is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module, enabling connection to a mobile device and operation via the StreamVision 2 application. The application allows for remote viewing of the image and control of the binoculars from a smartphone or tablet, which is particularly useful for documenting observations.

Power is supplied by a replaceable APS3 battery and a built-in 4000 mAh battery, ensuring long operating times in the field. The binoculars are fully waterproof (submersible up to 1 m for 30 minutes) and completely dustproof, making them ideal for demanding field expeditions.

Pulsar brand devices are designed and manufactured in Europe with European components, offering the highest image quality, robust construction, and reliability — created with ornithologists, wildlife photographers, and wild world observation enthusiasts in mind.

Key features of the Pulsar Ventex XP35 Thermal Imaging Binoculars:

  • Improved <18mK sensor

The advanced sNETD sensor with <18 mK sensitivity guarantees precise detail recognition even in adverse weather conditions such as rain and fog, even when temperature contrast is minimal. Minimum temperature differences are perfectly visible.

  • Full comfort during long observations

Binocular observation significantly reduces eye fatigue during use. The human brain is accustomed to receiving images from two sources simultaneously and combining them into a complete whole. When observing with one eye, we force the brain to change its natural processes, which can quickly lead to discomfort and fatigue.

  • Built-in laser rangefinder

Ventex has a built-in laser rangefinder that will allow us to precisely determine the distance to the target at a range of up to 1000 meters with an accuracy of 1 meter. The rangefinder does not increase the size of the binoculars as it is located in the thermal imager's lens.

  • Modern microbolometers

The thermal imager is equipped with a modern sensor with a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

  • Software update capability

The Pulsar company enables software updates in its products, giving users access to the latest improvements. This unique feature means the device is constantly evolving and becoming better.

  • 8x digital zoom

Pulsar Ventex XP35 offers optical magnification of 2x which, using digital zoom, can be smoothly or stepwise increased to 16x.

  • Waterproof

The device has an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means it is completely waterproof (submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).

  • Simple operation

Intuitive operation combined with modern technology gives us an effective yet comfortable-to-use thermal imager.

  • Built-in video/photo recorder with 16 GB memory

The thermal imager has a built-in video and photo recorder with 16 GB capacity. The USB-C port allows you to transfer recordings from the thermal imager to a computer.

  • Built-in WiFi module, Polish-language Stream Vision 2 application

Pulsar Ventex thermal binoculars can communicate with external mobile devices, on which, using the free, Polish-language StreamVision 2 application, you can: preview the image recorded by the thermal imager, save photos and videos to your phone or tablet's memory, control advanced functions of the thermal imager, save files in the free cloud, and update the device, equipping the scope with increasingly sophisticated functions.

  • Change in sensitivity gain level

Ventex XP35 is equipped with a three-step change in sensitivity gain level, which improves detection and recognition quality in various observation conditions. In case of a decrease in temperature contrast (fog, precipitation, high humidity), it is recommended to increase the gain level.

  • Smoothing filter

The function improves image quality, allowing us to reduce digital distortion while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.

  • Display OFF - Sleep mode

The function "Display OFF" instantly turns the displays on/off without switching off the device, which saves battery power and makes it easier to remain unnoticed in the dark. An innovative solution in the Ventex binoculars is the use of a proximity sensor, which automatically puts the binoculars into sleep mode when moved away from the eyes, and instantly restores the image when observation resumes.

  • Frost-resistant AMOLED displays with HD 1024x768 pixels resolution

Displays with high HD resolution (1024x768 pixels) combined with high resistance to extreme temperatures ensure that the device will not fail even in the most difficult conditions.

  • Extreme range

The use of high-quality germanium optics provides a detection range of  up to 1350m.

  • Picture in Picture Mode

Allows you to enlarge the central part of the image in a specially displayed window. The additional window occupies only 10% of the total display area.

  • Color palettes

Different image color palettes are available – the user has as many as 9 versions. (White Hot, Black Hot, Green, Red Hot, Red Monochromatic, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, Sepia).

  • Wide temperature range

Ventex XP35 thermal imagers can be used at any time of the year – the device operates in a temperature range of -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.

  • High refresh rate

Thanks to the refresh rate of 50 Hz, even when observing moving objects, the image is smooth and observations are comfortable.
