Delta Optical Forest II 8.5x50 Binoculars

Our binoculars are a compact optical tool, using roof prisms, which makes them not only lightweight but also compact. The binoculars are also made of durable materials.

The success of previous models in the Delta Optical Forest II series, such as the Forest II 8x42 and 10x42, gave us confidence that we met customer expectations. For example, the Forest II 8x42 model won second place in the "Product of the Year" 2011 competition in the Binoculars category on the www.optyczne.pl portal, and also received the "Sowa z Rogowa" award at the International Forest Fair in Rogów in 2011.

The Forest II 8.5x50 model offers comfortable use, a large field of view, and a significant exit pupil distance from the eyepiece of 22 mm. Due to the large exit pupil (5.9 mm), these binoculars are perfect for both twilight and night, when lighting conditions are poor.

All binoculars in the Delta Optical Forest II series are equipped with an optical system composed of 8 elements arranged in 6 groups. For production, we used high-quality roof prisms made of BaK4 glass, phase-corrected, with reflective surfaces coated with silver, which guarantees image sharpness and brightness. Additionally, all active optical surfaces of the lenses have multi-layer anti-reflective coatings of type FMC, ensuring excellent light transmission and natural color reproduction. The internal surfaces of the tubes have been carefully blackened, eliminating unwanted reflections and "ghosts".

All Forest II series binocular models feature a smoothly moving central focus knob and individual diopter correction in the right eyepiece, allowing for easy adjustment. Adjustable rubber twist-up eyecups extend to adapt to the needs of every observer. Forest II binoculars are resistant to harsh weather conditions, thanks to their sealed housing, which protects against moisture and rain. They can even withstand short-term immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 5 minutes. Additionally, nitrogen filling prevents fogging of the optics inside the housing.

Our new Forest II models stand out with their compact size and low weight. All Forest II binoculars with 50 mm objectives have similar dimensions and weigh less than 850 g. This is an excellent compromise between binoculars with 42 mm objectives and larger, heavier models with 56-63 mm objectives. Thanks to the 50 mm objective, the new Forest II models offer various levels of magnification, adapted to different observational needs.
