The Delta Optical Extreme ED series models are massive binoculars that incorporate uncompromising solutions. When designing them, the priority was to achieve the best possible optical properties supported by robust mechanics. Therefore, a Porro prism design was used, along with low-dispersion elements and massive prisms made of high-quality BaK4 glass.

Thanks to ED glass lenses with very low dispersion, chromatic aberration in the image has been significantly reduced, and thanks to powerful prisms, there is no need to worry about vignetting, i.e., darkening of the image at the edge of the field of view. Additionally, all lenses of the Extreme ED models are covered with multi-layer FMC anti-reflective coatings. These guarantee over 90% light transmission throughout the system, resulting in a bright and incredibly realistic image with natural colors. The image is free from defects such as astigmatism and coma, and thanks to proper distortion correction, it is also perfectly flat.

All these features combine into one most important aspect – Delta Optical Extreme ED binoculars provide an exceptionally bright, sharp, and high-contrast image across the entire field of view!

The Extreme 7x50 ED model is a wide-angle and very bright binocular. It is suitable for hunting because, with its very good resolution and image brightness, it allows for distinguishing details of game. It is an ideal binocular for all applications requiring observation at dusk. The mechanically resistant construction will perform very well on board a yacht, cutter, or ship, while also providing optimal magnification for observation from a swaying deck. It is also a great choice for astronomy enthusiasts. The binoculars provide images of large areas of the sky and are ideal for observing the Milky Way. The Extreme 7x50 ED binoculars have a very large depth of field, meaning that adjusting this parameter will often not be necessary. The Extreme 7x50 ED binoculars have a ¼" tripod adapter socket.

The bodies of all Extreme ED models are made of durable metal and covered with a special rubber cladding, which, in addition to good grip, provides effective shock absorption if the binoculars are dropped or hit. The mechanics of these devices can operate in a wide temperature range from -40° to +70 °C.

An important feature of the Extreme ED binoculars is also full waterproofness and protection against internal fogging due to the housing being filled with water-vapor-free nitrogen. The large size of the Extreme ED binoculars makes them quite easy to handle with gloves in winter conditions.

All Delta Optical Extreme ED models feature a separate external focusing system for each eyepiece. Comfortable eyecups fit perfectly to the eye sockets, eliminating external light interference. The binocular eyepieces also have built-in filter threads with a diameter of 1.25", allowing the use of nebula or polarizing filters. Thanks to these features, Delta Optical Extreme ED binoculars are an excellent choice for anyone who values exceptional image quality and reliability.
