The Hytera PD485 is a professional DMR Tier II radio with a full keypad and a 1.3'' OLED display — 256 channels, VHF or UHF, IP54, MIL-STD-810G, up to 16 hours of operation in digital mode. It automatically detects analog and digital signals, switching operation mode. Optional GPS BT version with GPS and Bluetooth. Requires UKE license.

PD485 vs BD505: The PD485 has 256 channels (vs 48 in BD505), a full keypad, and a 1.3'' OLED display — allowing programming from the keypad without CPS. The BD505 is simpler and cheaper. For applications with many groups, remote monitoring, and fleet management — PD485.
UKE license required — the radio operates on frequencies requiring a UKE license.
