MD615 High Power vs MD625: The MD615 High Power has an LED display (no LCD), the MD625 has a 1.5'' LCD with text message and channel name display capabilities. The MD615 High Power is cheaper and simpler, the MD625 offers better visual information.
UKE license required — the mobile radio operates on frequencies requiring a UKE license.
