The 7" Mini-LED screen (1920×1200, 60 Hz) with a peak brightness of 2000 nits and continuous brightness of 1600 nits is almost three times brighter than the RC 2 (700 nits). In direct sunlight, the image remains fully readable — no need to seek shade and no compromises on framing. A contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and 98% DCI-P3 gamut ensure faithful color reproduction, including D-Log and HLG preview directly on the controller's screen.
Screen Rotation — Effortless Vertical Video
The RC Pro 2 screen rotates to a vertical position and automatically synchronizes with the drone's gimbal — the Mavic 4 Pro camera rotates with the controller screen, without touching the app. The vertical preview area is up to 5.5 times larger than in the RC 2, making working with the 9:16 format more convenient than ever before.
HDMI and Audio — A Complete Studio in the Field
The HDMI output allows connecting an external monitor or recorder — the image is transmitted without UI overlays, ready for live streaming or monitoring on set. The built-in microphone records comments and voice-overs directly to the DJI Fly App. Direct output for DJI Mic series microphones (including Mic 2 and Mic Mini) via USB-C or Bluetooth.
Android System — Edit and Publish from the Controller
The RC Pro 2 runs on Android, allowing external applications to be installed — video editors (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush), Lightroom, social media apps. 128 GB of storage (approx. 100 GB available) and a microSD slot eliminate the need to transfer files to another device before editing.
