Mini-LED Screen — Readable in Full Sunlight
The 7" Mini-LED screen (1920×1200, 60 Hz) with a peak brightness of 2000 nits and continuous brightness of 1600 nits is almost three times brighter than the RC 2 (700 nits). In direct sunlight, the image remains fully readable — no need to seek shade and no compromises on framing. A contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and 98% DCI-P3 gamut ensure faithful color reproduction, including D-Log and HLG preview directly on the controller's screen.
Screen Rotation — Effortless Vertical Video
The RC Pro 2 screen rotates to a vertical position and automatically synchronizes with the drone's gimbal — the Mavic 4 Pro camera rotates with the controller screen, without touching the app. The vertical preview area is up to 5.5 times larger than in the RC 2, making working with the 9:16 format more convenient than ever before.
HDMI and Audio — A Complete Studio in the Field
The HDMI output allows connecting an external monitor or recorder — the image is transmitted without UI overlays, ready for live streaming or monitoring on set. The built-in microphone records comments and voice-overs directly to the DJI Fly App. Direct output for DJI Mic series microphones (including Mic 2 and Mic Mini) via USB-C or Bluetooth.
Android System — Edit and Publish from the Controller
The RC Pro 2 runs on Android, allowing external applications to be installed — video editors (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush), Lightroom, social media apps. 128 GB of storage (approx. 100 GB available) and a microSD slot eliminate the need to transfer files to another device before editing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between RC Pro 2 and RC 2?
The RC Pro 2 has a 7" Mini-LED screen (2000 nits vs. 5.5" / 700 nits in the RC 2), HDMI output, 128 GB of storage (vs. 32 GB), 4 hours of operating time (vs. 3 hours), a rotatable screen with gimbal synchronization, Android system with support for external applications, and a weight of ~750 g (vs. 420 g). The RC 2 is lighter and cheaper — a good choice for standard work. The RC Pro 2 is the choice for professional productions and live streaming.
Does the RC Pro 2 work with drones other than Mavic 4 Pro?
Yes — the RC Pro 2 is compatible with DJI Mavic 4 Pro, Air 3S, Air 3, Mini 4 Pro, and Mini 5 Pro. For drones other than the Mavic 4 Pro, the transmission switches to the O4 system (instead of O4+), and the range changes accordingly to the specifications of the given drone.
Does the RC Pro 2 support HDMI input?
No — the RC Pro 2 only has HDMI output. This allows you to connect an external monitor or image recorder, but it does not allow connecting an external signal source to the controller's screen.
Can I install CapCut or other apps?
Yes — the RC Pro 2 runs on Android and supports the installation of external applications via a browser or APK file via a microSD card. You can edit and publish content directly from the controller without transferring files to a computer.
