The Holosun HS407K is an open reflex sight designed for subcompact, concealed carry pistols. It features Holosun Super LED technology, providing a battery life of up to 50,000 hours, a 6 MOA dot, and Shake Awake technology.
In the X2 version, the collimator received - in addition to improvements known from previous versions, such as a retractable battery tray - a modified, horizontal button layout, facilitating instinctive operation, and Lock Mode: an option to lock the buttons, protecting against accidental changes to settings.
The use of a highly efficient LED diode and an optimized control system in its design means the device offers a theoretical operating time of up to 50,000 hours on a single battery at a medium brightness setting.
The lenses, made of glass dedicated to optics production, have been multi-layer coated with reflective coatings, ensuring excellent visible light transmission. This guarantees a bright, clear, and interference-free image.
The Shake Awake system used in the device is responsible for saving battery life. After a user-programmed time, the collimator goes into sleep mode. Only a slight movement of the firearm it is mounted on is needed to wake it up.
The device's construction utilizes anodized aluminum, providing chemical and mechanical resistance. The material combines low weight with high damage resistance due to its manufacturing process using milling from a block. The RMSc standard mount allows installation on pistols with the appropriate cut.
