Alfatronix AD MT-3100/DM is a desktop power supply that turns a Motorola mobile radio (including MOTOTRBO DM4400/DM4600, DM3400/DM3600 and TETRA MTM5400/MTM800) into a base station. The radio mounts directly on the power supply, and the whole set sits on a desk and runs from a 115 V or 230 V AC mains socket – the input voltage is selected automatically, with no switching. The power supply has a characteristic "wedge" shape that tilts the radio's front panel slightly towards the operator.

The 13.6 V DC output rated at 108 W (9 A) powers the radio at full transmit power, and the battery output lets you connect backup power: the power supply keeps the battery charged and switches over to it when mains power fails. A solution for dispatch rooms, fire stations, gatehouses, site offices and crisis management centres, where communication has to work during a power outage as well.

Using a Hytera radio? The same power supply in the version for Hytera HM785 / MD785 is the Alfatronix AD for Hytera HM785. For radios of other brands, choose the universal Alfatronix AD UN UNI. Under the power supply you can add the AD BBB stand with a 7 Ah battery and speaker.
